Wahay… It’s May!

Yes we’re out on the road again…

Well here we are in May apart from getting all celebratory about weddings and spring being in the air and eating red, (tutti fruiti) white, (vanilla) and blue (you guessed it blueberry candies) the lico team have just been visiting Kent for it’s County Fair held at the Hop Farm, and have to say there was alot of wellie wanging going on…but besides that the weather held out and there were lots of you Liquorice lovers enjoying yourselves.

Welly Wanger extraordinaire, get the conditions right and it can be a very satisfying sport.
Our next port of call, quite literally really…though we won’t be arriving by boat is
The Old Gaffers Festival held in the port town of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight

It sounds almost a little disrespectful if you’re not in the know, as if there were going to be some real old timers hanging about on display, and in a way that’s correct, but luckily the focus will be on these amazing old wooden boats, beautifully loved and maintained and looking resplendant with their nautical flags and also a chance to see some of them racing just off shore, they’ll be lots more going on including music and dancing and general merriment, so as always we’d love to see you there.
